I am one of the people that have booked a room at the Wayside Cheer as the competition is going to be played there, so I would be pretty cheesed off if the venue was changed.

Marine View `A` 1-4 Swan `B` The only loser for the Swan was Matthew who lost a 7,000 break on last ( I think he would have held it if it mattered). The Henty is a great table, we had some big scores, good food and the landlord paid for the table.

The Dyke has won this match as my captain Doug Mahy has been in touch with some dates to play them. Unfortunately I do not know the final score or individual scores.

Swan `B` 3 - 2 Marquis `B`.
Nick brown on first but off early, barry Holt gets the break back and touches up on exactly 10,000! Brian richards on second but also off early, Gary ridley plays well to win easily. Tony Burgess next with a 2,000 plus break against Doug Mahy, Doug wins eventually. Roger Taylor breaks with 1,500 ish verses Jaqui Brown wins easily sorry Jaqui. Neil Higgins off early against Matthew Squire, but gets break back again with a nice break of 8,000 plus I think.
As always a good night with the Marquis shame they did not field their stronger regular team.

Marquis of Granby `A` 0 - 5 Swan `B`
Brian Richards beat Sandra Race. Matthew Squire beat Lorraine Hall. Roger Taylor beat Jean Brackenridge with a 10,000 plus opening break. Doug Mahy beat Sheena Wood. Phil Oakley beat Chris Richards.
Excellent result for the Swan `Bs`as this fixture usually finishes with a very close 3-2.

Swan `B`3 - 2 Three Horseshoes.
Kevin Tunstall beat Doug Mahy in the first, chances but Kevin won through. Brian Richards beat Stuart Mepham, with a faultless opening break of 8,000 plus. Roger Taylor beat Kevin Hall, a few lucky shots by Roger to get the break back to win (sorry). Matthew Squire beat Chris Lawman quite easily, not enough local knowledge from Chris. Mal Spiers beat Phil Oakley fairly easily.
Sorry no scores.

Hi Tony, can I ask how the Worthing rankings are worked out, because I do not think I have ever been ranked at number 24 since the rankings in Worthing began? Is this list correct?
